Each banner is dedicated to a single museum, local society or group. A society member ususally stands by the banner, ready to use it as a talking point and hoping to strike up a conversation. Each group does this in its own way and so each banner has a different emphasis. The styling of the banners supports this with a flexible format that appears to work well.
Forum banners are typically displayed in groups of four or more with an acompanying banrner, or two banners, for the Forum itself. Blaby Heritage Panel often displays its banners singly or in pairs.
