Charles Horner of Halifax

Publication and web site design for GML Publishing

Tom Lawson has written an inspired book. The Charles Horner company designed and produced jewellery in the Art Nouveau, Arts and Crafts and Art Deco styles, as well as the famous 'Dorcas' thimble.

In his painstaking research Tom has put the products into their historical context by revealing the richness and diversity of the firm, the social history of the period and the character of Charles Horner himself.
